This guide explains how the Honey Hustle Zoom integration works, how to add it, how to use it, and how to remove it.

What this integration does

Honey Hustle students join company live classes inside the Honey Hustle mobile app using Zoom's Meeting SDK. With your permission (via Zoom OAuth), the app lets you join the class as your Zoom user and verifies your in-class attendance.

1. Add the app (Connect Zoom)

  1. Open the Honey Hustle app on Android and go to your internship's Live Class screen.
  2. Tap Connect Zoom, and you will be taken to Zoom's sign-in page.
  3. Sign in with your Zoom account and tap Allow on the consent screen.
  4. You will return to the app automatically; your Zoom account is now connected.

2. Use the app (Join a live class)

  1. On the Live Class screen, enter your class code (provided by the company) and tap Join Now.
  2. Tap Join Zoom Class; the meeting opens inside the app (no separate browser tab needed).
  3. Stay in the meeting for the required duration, then tap Attend when enabled to mark today's attendance.

3. Remove the app (Disconnect / Deauthorize)

You can remove the Honey Hustle Zoom connection in two ways:

  • Inside the Honey Hustle app: open the Live Class screen and tap Disconnect Zoom to remove your connection from Honey Hustle.
  • Inside your Zoom account: go to Zoom Settings → Apps → Manage added apps, find Honey Hustle, and select Remove. Zoom notifies us and we delete your stored connection data automatically.

Data we store

When you connect, Honey Hustle stores your Zoom user ID and an encrypted token used only to let you join live classes and verify attendance. We delete this data when you disconnect or remove the app.
